    Your TAX, BUSINESS AND TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

     HOUSE COMMERCE & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR HOUSE BILL 11

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 3, line 6, strike "an employee", strike line 7 and strike line 8 up to "an".

    2. On page 11, line 1, strike "January" and insert in lieu thereof "July". 

    3. On page 22, line 10, after "employed", insert "or self-employed".

  

    4. On page 22, line 18, strike "E" and insert in lieu thereof "F".

    5. On page 22, line 20, strike "one of".

    6. On page 22, after line 25, insert:

         "D. If more than one parent of a child applies to receive the welcome child refund, the welcome child refund may be divided evenly between the parents. No child's family shall be entitled to receive more than three thousand dollars ($3,000) each month for the three months immediately following the birth or adoption of the child.".

    7. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
